Inspired by a Julia Childs recipe, chunky tomatoes are slowly simmered with toasted crushed coriander, fennel seed from the garden, orange zest and white wine.

It would be perfect atop roasted fish, as a base for a seafood stew, dolloped on some scrambled eggs or tossed with sautéed shrimp and pasta.  Hints of all those flavors come through serving as the perfect complement.
